Because things change
and there's no such thing as forever.
But I'll continue to pursue it.
I'm not sure why,
but it's not gone,
at least not for me.
I'm not nostalgic
nor do I wish to retrogress.
I'm taking what I had in the past
and longing for it to be in my future.
