To be honest, I've been too preoccupied to remember you or anything I have ever deemed significant. I'm passing each day like a nonchalant document. "Just sign your name on the dotted line and you're all set." I have no response, nor do any emotions stimulate my senses.
I complete the tasks that must be done, and with the remaining time I possess, I sleep. In fact, even in dreamland I'm too busy or too tired to take a second to reminisce.
Or, at least that's what I tell myself every waking moment.
